Young to Join Hammers?
It has been reported that Luke Young has handed in a transfer request at Charlton Athletic. It is no secret that West Ham have a void at right back that needs filling and Young has been linked on several occasions. I think it would be a great acquisition, a player on the fringe of England's World Cup ambitions could be just the sort of player that would fit into Pardew's plans.
We have been slow to join the preseason transfer scramble, and the signing of Luke Young would be a good start IMO.
