Another game, another loss
ffs. 0-1 Mido in the 45th min. Green made his debut. At one stage we had Bobby, Marlon, Tevez & Cole on at once and still couldn't score.
If we lose against Chesterfield on Tuesday I think that might be all she wrote for Pardew....Konch won't play cause of accumulated cards I think.

Didn't watch it no. I'd be suprised if we stay up now I think. There's not much for us in November. I'm thinking we may beat Blackburn at home next week but we won't go on from there and beat Arsenal and Chelsea.

It's time to stop even pretending we're going to play good football and just get points.
Man City, Sheffield united, Watford and Charlton are very very poor teams and we can't allow them to finish above us on grit alone while we go down in glorious failure (in our minds). No more neutral's favourite style football. Just get points.

Anon - I don't think we are even playing that pretty mate - it's just not happening in the final third for us mate. Latest report says we were working hard and pumping long balls - no sign of pretty football.

I agree Dave, I reckon we are in deep shit. How fucked is it when you feel your only hope is relying on the other shit teams around you to also keep losing.
A win against Chesterfield, with ex Hammer Richard Garcia up front, might give us some confidence for the Blackburn game. Maybe, sigh! If I was Pards I'd be playing my strongest team, they need to play as much as possible to get their confidence back. And IMO that's all it is, a few wins on the bounce and your back in there. Sounds easy doesn't it?
On a different note, there's about 15 of us coming up from the Coast for the Roar game this Saturday, a few WH amongst us. We'll be in the Caxton from about 5.30ish if anyones interested in catching up for a beer. You won't miss me I'll be the sad bastard wearing the WH shirt drowning his sorrows.

Richard Garcia plays for Colchester mate - I know it's confusing they both begin with C ;-) Chesterfield is up north somewhere - expect them to knock us out of the cup come wednesday morning - it WILL happen!

Dave, and there I was feeling pretty pleased with myself, what an arse! I'm still clinging onto the hope we can beat the mighty Colchester aka Chesterfield, but I wouldn't be surprised.
No need for the thread mate, just an excuse to catch up really, have a few beers and complain about how shit we are. I was contemplating coming up to watch WH/spuds game with you lot if Fox had it on the box, really glad they didn't show it. Bad enough watching it at home and losing but in a room full of spuds laughing at us, no thanks.
Forget how hard it can be to support this club sometimes.
