Still Got a Point to Make!
I'm not saying "don't get carried away" because I'm already swept away with euphoria right now. But we are not out of the woods yet. A draw next week at the Theatre of Clowns would ensure our Premiership status for one more year and I hope our players don't think the job is done already.
What is good is the fact that Sheffield United's goal difference has been brought back to close to Wigan's after losing to Aston Villa so they have an incentive to win against Wigan next week. However somewhat more dissapointing is the fact that Fulham are now all but safe. Lose next week and there is only one team's result we are looking out for and that is Wigan's.

What a magical night, the Hammers live on, get anthing from the Man Utd game and we stay up.Who wouldve believed aye(me thats who never lost the faith),it just wouldnt be Westham without all the drama that goes along with supporting them. The turnout at the Rosemont was excellent about 25 Hammer fans there the noise that we created was awesome especially as the 3 goals went in.Will be doing it again if the game is on Foxtel. So come one come all and enjoy the great atmosphere and cheer for our Hammers

Guys.. another great night and we are now so close to a dream that seemed impossible not so long ago... We can get a draw at Old Trafford as it seems that would probably suit everyone even if Chelsea win today and beat the Mancs... Your right about the Wigan thing though... if they beat Shef U even by 1-0 then they will go above Shef U and so that fixture seems to be in our favour... but if Wigan win and we don't then.............!!!!!! But if you would have said that the only way the worst could happen on the last day was for this situation then I'm sure we would have all took it...
Come on your IRONS!!!!

Wow i still cant believe it, what a result. I know its not all done and dusted yet but we are looking good to stay up. Who would have thought a couple of weeks ago that survival in the last week is in our own hands and that we can lose and could still stay up.

Magic night! The recent jinx of not winning when watching with Dave is over (though I insisted on staying out in the back bar till they shut it just to be safe :)
The stay up stay down permutations are doing my head in..check out this article from kumb - The Relegation Equation.
----------pts GD, GS
Fulham....39 -20 37
Sheff Utd.38 -22 31
West Ham..38 -25 34
-------------------
Wigan.....35 -23 35
Charlton..33 -24 32
Watford...27 -30 28
FWIW, my predictions
1) Charlton will get a point at most against Spurs and be down before the weekend begins
2) SU will at least draw with Wigan (I suspect they'll beat them)to send them down...Wigan really have been poor for several weeks and turning it around at a packed Brammall Lane should be beyond them.
Personally I would much rather see Warnock get fucked over and relegated but can't see it..

It would be so typical for West Ham to avoid relegation by beating the league champions in both encounters.

Fergie had better Rest those players in a weeks time because Man U just won the title.

im not so sure he will play his no.1 team against us
cuz we are playing for our season and atm we are playing a hard physical style of play...but iif the no.1 team is out there they might be floating, not going into 50/50 with gusto for fear of getting injured
or they might just have a nice big dose of apathy

I know due to goal diff now we don't have to worry about a SU/Wigan pact but what if it at half time we are down 3-0 and SU/Wigan are 0-0. I wouldn't put it past Warnock to monitor updates from old trafford and then get em to concede a goal and send us down instead of Wigan.
I just submitted a suggestion for a topic for the Rich List..Australian's to have played top flight football in England...how many do you guys want to bid? (without googling) :)
