Marlon Harewood has continued his form with two goals - albeit only one that is credited to him - against Fulham in a thrilling derby.
More on this later.

Too tired after a long weekend to write a match report, anyone want to do one? Meantime, I'll put in my player ratings.
Carroll (7) a couple of key saves. Konchesky (8) very involved forward and back, another good game for Konchy. Ferdinand (6) Not his best game, got caught out of position a couple of times, but still pretty good. Gabbidon (7) Scares me occasionally by hanging onto the ball for half a second too long, but otherwise excellent. Danny has been a brilliant signing. Repka (7) Defended well. Etherington (7) Good first half but quiet in the second. Got himself into some good positions down the wing - a key player for us. Reo-Coker (8) Another battling performance. However, I thought the midfield left too big a gap in front of defence. Mullins (6) A quiet display, did the job, but like I said, the midfield didn't support the defence too well. Benayoun (6) Very subdued, couldn't get involved and was subbed. Still hard-working and does look class. Zamora (7) Worked hard, perhaps needs to be a little more positive on goal. Good support work though. Harewood (7) Really should have two goals to his credit to join Darren Bent as top scorers of the league. In good form and is getting the goals. His passing was below average though and both he and Zamora got caught offside way too often.
Newton (6) Another OK game by Shaun. Sheringham (6) Quiet. Aliadere (7) Looked very good in the short time he played. I wish he was one of ours!
