Match Prediction: Spurs Away
Just looking at the fixture list makes me think we are in a whole load of trouble right now. We need to win tonight IMO to even think about staying up with the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal on the horizon for November. What we need is a bit of luck and get the first goal. Last week at Portsmouth we had 59% of the play yet failed to score yet again. From the games I've watched (most of them) we don't seem to be creating an awful lot either.
Anyway with the negatives out of the way I actually think we are going to take this tonight. Don't ask me why, maybe it is becasue we are so deep in it that the players will take a good look at themselves and think 'we have to do something here'. It doesn't read pretty just one point above bottom of the league and Pardew will be letting his players know that it is just not acceptable.
I think Marlon is going to get off the mark today and we will either get a draw or nick a win. We must get some luck and score first though because going behind is not doing us any favours.

I think the dire situation coupled with the hostile atmosphere at Spurts might just regalvanise the players in the mould of last season.

West Ham striker Carlos Tevez insists he is enjoying his time in England despite failing to shine in the EPL so far.
The 22-year-old Argentinian joined the Hammers from Brazilian side Corinthians on transfer deadline day this season alongside compatriot Javier Mascherano, but the east Londoners have failed to win a game since the pair arrived.
Even so, the forward is revelling in the experience of Premiership football with the Hammers.
He told Ole newspaper: "It is wonderful. The stadium is full, the people are near us and there are no barriers. It is impossible to imagine that in Argentina."
"The supporters do not bother you here. They are calmer. I go out and I am calm. The English do not show the same passion as we have for football. If they are in the stadium, they are fervent. But day by day, they are not like the Argentinians or the Brazilians."
One thing Tevez has not quite got to grips with is the language.
He said: "I am learning English. I knew a little English from school, although I did not remember a lot. I have to be patient."
The Argentina international reportedly experienced problems with some of his Corinthians team-mates, but he has been impressed with the Hammers squad, many of whom have gone out of their way to help him settle in.
He said: "I do not have friends here yet. It is difficult because of the language. I want to learn at least a bit more English to be closer to my team-mates."
"When Javier and I landed in London, all of them helped us to get to know the city and to look for an apartment. The people get 10 out of 10."
"As people told me, I thought I was going to be with cold people, but here everyone is very nice."
