OT: OZ v NZ
Just my player ratings.
Schwartzer (6) not much to do but came out of the box well to snuff out a danger on his right.
Muscat (5) Anonymous apart from trying to break some Kiwi legs.
Moore (7) Solid as usual, cleaned up well. Taken off due to tight hamstring I think.
Popovic (7) Dominating, reliable.
Neill (7) Not much got past him and linked well with Chipperfield in attack.
Cahill (6) Tried but couldn't find form.
Skoko (6) Did a job, passing was fairly poor.
McKain (6) Did OK but gave the ball away way too often.
Chipperfield (7) Man of the Match. Poor first half, but good second half. Took the wrong option too often but was Australia's only real attacking threat. His marker was inexperienced and it showed.
Sterjovski (6) Couldn't get into the game. Was not able to play his usual style due to poor team tactics.
Emerton (5) Awful game by his usual high standards. Got the ball but didn't do anything with it. Missed an easy header.
Kalac (6) Nervous early but made a good save and looked solid. Has a good reputation - might be worth a look at for Pardew!
Milicevic (6) Played a bit.
Colosimo (7) Ran about and got a good goal.
Thompson (6) Good replacement for Moore. Would not want to mess with him!
Elrich (6) Promising.
