Testing - this could be huge!
I thought I'd give this a test because this could open up avenues to make this site a bit more interesting. Below is an embeded video of last nights A-league semi final goal and post match interview. Anyway if this works we could have goals for Hammers games on here. :-)

Anon - where are we breaking the law? This site is not hosting any videos - you tube is hosting it so they deal with the security - we can't be sued for providing a link to a video elsewhere.

I dunno - it's risky. Personally I'd rather not do this for 2 reasons, 1) still not sure of the legality of it, 2) if we are the only site who links to the video, it looks a lot like we were the ones who put it there, and 3) can we not just post a text link as usual?
Another thing - does this affect people who don't have broadband? (download size)

I've got to apologise for stealing the idea. In exchange try using Google Videos. They have faster servers and faster download speeds. This has to be illegal, however it seems to me Google are taking all the risks for hosting the mpegs.

I'm sure there's something in their disclaimer about it, and besides - if you were making crack in your bathtub, they wouldn't arrest your landlord would they?
