Forget Palermo - LET'S SEE IF WE CAN AVOID RELEGATION!
Just stayed up again to watch another crock of shite!
Everything is going against us - to think we had delusions of grandure just a few weeks back - well bump! Wake up lads - we're shit! Well we are if we play like a wet sponge as we have done since transfer deadline day passed.
This is starting to remind me of our relegation season where confidence was low and we had injuries to key players. To be honest it all started when Ashton broke his leg training for England before the season had started. Now we have Ferdinand out and doubtful for the 2nd leg vs Palermo this week.
Time to get personal:
Mascherano - you are a lazy cunt! What the hell was going through your head as you stood a foot away from Samaras as he watched the ball come down for 15 minutes turn and shoot??? FFS - Mullins must be well pissed off.
Reo-Coker - what the fuck are you all about eh? Arrogant as shit about your ability yet every time you get anywhere near the ball you're easily disposessed and when you don't have it your casually jogging around looking like you don't want it!
I honestly beleive if we don't sort this out soon we could be in trouble. :-(

Think we are already in trouble Dave. Can't remember the last time we kept a clean sheet and now we can't score. Several injuries to key players and no team confidence. This is real bad.
That's 3 loses on the bounce and 2 against very poor sides. What does that say about us! I've got a bad feeling lads this is going to be a long season fighting for our EPL existence.
Dave, Pardew said " NRC was back to his best today". Gotta say I suspect your description of our Captain is likely to be the more accurate one! NRC truly needs a bit of time on the bench. Reckon the 15 mill price tag on NRC is dropping by the minute!
This is all about spirt and character, none of which we have at the moment and that for me is the most disappointing thing. You get used to losing being WH but it's not the losing that depresses me it's the manner in which you go down and this lying down shit is NOT WH.
Don't know how Pardew turns this around.
I've had enough, I'm off to beat the wife and kids now.

So if I'm getting this right, we started with Dailly at right back. I know we have some defensive injuries...from what
I can work out :-
- Painsil back in 10 days
- Mears calf strain (short term)
- Collins groin strain (from tonking Kewell's missus?) short term
- McCartney knee injury, expected to resume training in 2-3 weeks
- and now add Ferdinand presumably
OK so we have some issues but what about Spector? Pards said he would not start him due to a lack of match fitness. WTF? He didn't even make it on the bench FFS.
He had a shoulder injury in *April*. In Spector's own opinion "I feel like I am pretty much back to where I need to be with my fitness levels, so I am happy". And he adds "he is eager to pull on a first team shirt now that he has regained match fitness".
He has played in the past three, count em three, reserve games. 60 mins again Watford and the full 90 against Chelsea & Spurs.
And Pardew says he is not match fit and is not even good enough for a spot on the bench???
So we start with Dailly at right back and are forced to play Mullins there and switch football genius Dailly to centre back.
Jebus.
Both Bobby & Marlon were by all accounts ineffective but he left it until deep into the 2nd half to give Tevez or Cole a chance.
I have just finished reading Pete May's excellent "Hammers in the Heart" and in it he recounts a conversation with Pardew where AP said it is all about "how you deal with the rough seas".
Well Alan take a look over the starboard bow. Them thar waves are about to engulf HMAS West Ham 2006/7. Sort it out quick fucking smart cause knowing West Ham there probably aren't enough life vests on board.
