It's also the day of a mate's funeral.

Was only telling Dickster15 at the Palermo match my fears on this one as WEST HAM have this habit of breaking the bad run of opposing sides and unfortunately they did exactly that. Bad loss today boys. I know it's early days but it's a bit of a worry to me. You've got to pick up points at home against marginal opposition early on in the season especially if you're WEST HAM. You can bet your house we'll need them come our tradtional disasterous Christmas run. I know it's doom and gloom from me but this one is a bitter disappointment. Not to mention the Roeder factor, he must be loving it.
Can't bring myself to look at the other web pages today, the bar codes will be giving it to us big time.
Gotta say I'm glad I didn't see it, and Daves description reads like a nightmare!
Was also hoping we'd start a run of wins leading up to the UEFA return leg! What a joke!
Confidence must be low as in the sqaud at the momennt. Pardews management skills will have to work overtime to get us back on track.

I heard Palermo won again on the weekend and are lying 2nd in Seria A! Nothing to worry about lads, we're just lulling them into a false sense of security before we blitz them!

Sure, the whole team seems a little uneasy, but we have to let the Argies settle. They’re here now and they’re too good to leave out, so there’s no other way around it.
Manchester City are really, really bad and so is their manager. We can get back on track. Playing away might be easier under these circumstances.

I agree Hobbs. The Argies are world class and already look better than the rest of the squad. Mind you the Runaway Bay Sunday team look better than our squad at the moment!
