Pardew Out!
You're only as good as your last game - or in Alan's case your last 8!! I don't ever remember West Ham losing 8 games in a row - this is an absolute sham.
I like Pardew and I really wanted it all to work out well for him and with a bit of luck here and there things may have been different. But I think if we are to stand any chance of staying up then we must make changes and we must make them now before it's too late. I think the club are in deep shit and I think we are going down.
Watch the proposed take over fall over this week, then watch the board fuck around whilst Pardew continues to praise his troops effort (which was piss poor today) and making feeble excuses for why we are playing like a pile of w**k!
Let's be under no illusions here - Chesterfield were not good today - West Ham were utter crap!
I think I need some time out.

Pardew didn't even sign them, which is worse. Chairman signings never work out. Ask Newcastle.
Pardew has to go now, so the new man can have a look at the players and make plans for the transfer window in advance.
I still don’t want Curbishley. He’ll keep us up and then give us 10 years of uninspiring 12th place finishes. We’re a big enough club to fork out for a proven top manager, no more up and comers, no more old school lads, no Curbs, no Dowie, etc.
Also, the chairman has to go. His continued ineptitude is responsible for this.

I still want to stick by Pardew. He needs a kick up the arse if he's still going on about how great we are - the recent run should be giving him a big dose of humility that he seemed to have lost after last season. Ultimately I don't think sacking him will get us anywhere, not because he's great, but because there's nobody else we're likely to get who's any better (Curbs included).

I have to say he need's to go and sooner rather than later, well done to Pard's you got a record any decent manager would not want 8 defeats in a row,, piss poor if you ask me, get him out now, before it is too late.. :( . We are a poor prem team but by far not the worse in the league, but you can't keep saying were having bud luck. Chesterfield ? who??? OUT NOW!!

But it's not working whubris. How long do you keep fucking up until you're sacked at work?? You can't keep blaming luck and I'm not saying luck is not at fault but if nothing changes then the situation wont change as I see it.
I guess we'll be brighter if we turn over Blackburn Sunday but from what I've seen so far I don't see how that will happen. They're not even motivated by fear at the moment.

I agree with whubris sacking him will change nothing. Replace him with who? Where are all these proven top managers? We arrogantly did the same thing when we got rid of 'Arry , who came knocking, no one! Don't get me wrong I think the buck stops with Pards but unless he can be replaced with a genuine top manager, I don't see we have a choice. I'm just as fucked off as the rest of you, infact I'm in a vendetta kind of mood so God help anyone who pushes my buttons today, but it's happened now and there's fuck all we can do about it. It's game by game now lads, no delusions of winning anything, just concentrate on the next game.
You guys have been around long enough to know this is West Ham and we'll have to deal with this current disater as best we can. We punched above our weight last season and surprised a few sides, we also had our fair share of luck. But we've lost any luck we had, and teams now know what to expecet. So it's back to the training pitch and work hard to change things, what else can you do?
I would like Pards to change his current tactic of "can't fault the players effort" nonsense. Maybe he should try the Alex Ferguson approach and get get visibly angry with them. Who knows?
After today, it's painfully obvious that our only priority should be to survive the season above the drop zone. At least we don't have to worry about the Carling Cup anymore! It's still all to play for but like most of you on here I fear the worst.
I expect I'll cop some stick at the Roar game on Sat. what with me going to wear my WH shirt, but as a mate of mine said in a text message this morning when I put the same question to him, "we're irons mate, we can take it, it's not about a season or one game, it's our history, the shirt, it's in the blood, WEST HAM TILL I DIE.
I may be mental but bring on Blackburn!!!

I think he’s been found out. He won’t fix the problem because he can’t. The dilemma now is as whubris suggests, is who would we replace him with? Finding a good manager is almost impossible. Look at Charlton, Man City, Newcastle, Boro, Brum, Leeds and even England, all taking risks with managers who are unqualified, unproven or just poor. We’ll want an English manager too and there are none going.
It’s looking bad on the pitch, but what concerns me is more, is the people in the boardroom. The club is a shambles and I fear the worst. Don’t be surprised if we get relegated with one of Bryan Robson, Brian Kidd, Kevin Keegan or Glenn Hoddle in charge. Ugh.
Then we’ll have to go back to a overrated Championship level manager, like Pardew.

Pierre Littbarski might be available.
Sure AP isn't doing well but I'd love to see the statistics of how well a club does after sacking a manager - it seems like most of the time they do well for a half dozen games then go back to where they were before. A lot of the time you see clubs really struggle after changing managers. The only exceptions are really good managers like O'Neill - with everyone else, it's just musical chairs.
It's a bad slump but most clubs go through slumps and they rarely last more than a couple of months. Yeah we were bitten last time with Roeder, where they kept him on WAY too long, but Pardew's done all right till now. He hasn't been found out - he's obviously having trouble integrating the Argies and holding the dressing room together at the moment. He clearly had the players' respect last season, so I think he can get it back. He got them out of the whole slump after relegation and he can do it again.
BTW I totally agree with Beggers, well said!
Also Hobbs put it very well about managers, even if you think he should be sacked on the basis of performance, where will we go from there? Do we want to float around with different managers for the next 5 years? Fuck that with knobs on. AP is only the 10th manager for WHUFC, we're not one of those clubs who just go swapping managers all over the place. AP has the right stuff to be our manager - as long as he can sort this shit soon of course.
Having said all that I think he's right royally fucked up, and needs a big old kick right up the arse.

You have to ask - why the fuck did he play Mullins Dailly & Reo-coker as his midfield oh and sorry the untested Kyel Reid??? We contsantly play with a team with no flair which does not suit West Ham.
I see the half arsed logic of needing players who can graft it but we've proven over and over that when we change our game plan to suit who we're playing we've immediately conceded that they will dictate the game and they will be playing a style they are comfortable with and we are not! AP has not learned this yet - I can't for the life of me fathom why not!
I'm sorry but we're the Premier League side so we should be making them play up to our standards if they want to be competitive in the game not the other way round. We did the same thing vs Watford and IMO that's where this whole season started to look a little ordinary to say the least.

And please don't take me the worng way with Pards - I hope we give Blackburn a pasting and everything turns out good for him - I like the bloke and feel a bit gutted for him - I just fear where all this is going right now.
I like is attitude of not settling for mediocrity but when he comes out and says they showed good spirit and he couldn't fault his players - is that not settling for second best??
I'm bizarely looking forward to the Blackburn game because I want them to knock this one out of my system sooner rather than later!

I think West Ham should stick by Pards. He knows time is running out. The players insist that they are behind Pards well it's time for THEM to prove it/ that comment is to Reo-Coker, Benayoun and Ferdinand who were great last year but shit this year. I must say though if we lose against Blackburn it could be curtains for Pardew
