Brisbane Hammers vs Wigan @ Pig & Whistle
Dave talked to Arj who confirmed they will have our game on at the Pig, however the audio will be turned down for the 1st half due to existing function committments.
If you plan on being there this Sat vs Wigan, let us know in a comment to this thread.
The next official meet ups will be vs Boro Sept 15th & vs Arsenal Sep 29th.

First time poster (long time reader of the blog though - good work!). Keen to get to the Pig & Whistle to see Wigan get crucified (little bit fo payback for last season's Tevez related garbage). Two questions though ... 1: Pig & Whistle Riverside or the Mall; and 2: What time is kick off tonight?

Yeah i think the bouncers must be cracking down on us after the tottenham incident. They weren't letting us have any interaction with other fans. Some Chelsea guy had a Lampard shirt and we started up fat frank and they were like stop that, just leave. it was ridiculous.

I guess a side effect of viewers choice is that there is gonna be more fans from different clubs in the pub at the same time.
And yeah it sounds like we are being watched super closely after recent close calls.
Not much we can do but toe the tough line they are setting at the moment (which is their perogative)and then perhaps things will ease up a bit and friendly banter will be ok again.
The Pig & Whistle management have looked after us in the past..how many boozers would open at 5am just to allow us to watch an important game.
If however the crack down gets a little too OTT or unfair, Dave or I can have a quiet word with Arj..they have video surveillance and do have the means to check up, but for that to work we need to be doing the right thing across the board so that the footage will bear out what we say.
The next official meet up against Boro will be a good chance to show everything is cool and we can have a good time without any agro or crossing the line.
