The big XL's make an otherwise ok shirt look like shit, though i prefer that away shirt much more then our current one.

Be buying one no matter what they look like.
Recall reading that the XL sponsor is from Iceland. Can't remember what they do though?

Out of interest where would you go about buying one. I Got my one for Christmas, so I dont exactly no where to go to buy one. (And I Dont trust Rebel to stock our shirts when were in the premiership)

From my understanding XL are British and have links to Iceland, they operate in Britain.
"XL, formerly known as Excel Airways, claim to be the fifth largest holiday company in the United Kingdom. The company has an annual turnover of more than £1 billion."
I'm sure this is just a taster for some bigger fish when WHU start fighting for Champions league places.

Congratulations whubris on being the first to break the ice on the predictable XL jokes ;P I'm sure I'd have only been a few days behind you. I'm waiting for all the fat jokes when I buy one.

theredrisky: I purchased my current West Ham shirt from Kitbag, even if you are buying in pounds from the UK the cost was still less than I could get it here (including getting numbers put on the back).
It arrived within a week too...

Actually Boys what we should do is club together an order direct from the club shop. If you purchase from the shop and send to Australia you get a 17.5% VAT reduction and if we put all the orders together the postage will be far less than the VAT saving and we'll get them at even less than if we walked into the shop with cash.
Bet you boys are glad you have an accountant amongst your ranks eh? LOL

Risky - we'll get anything we want to get from the club shop as long as everybody puts the money up front. It comes out in June so plenty of time to organise.

I read on the WHU website that the deal they have struck with Umbro means that they will only be available from the club shop. Makes it a bit hard to try on sizes if you live in Australia...

LOL @ Dave... Do they supply extra X's? Just for a laff!
Agree with Deano - I really hate those iron-on badges, they look so cheap and tacky. I love the embroidered ones. The badge is the most important part of any shirt so it should be treated with respect, and a really well done embroidered badge is beautiful.
I won't be buying one of these though - apart from the lack of funding I just think they look shit! I've only got 2 WHUFC shirts now and if I were going to get another one I'd probably want one of those 60s retro shirts - they're awesome.

I actually think both home and away shirts are really nice. Likewise with the emroidered badges - the iron on ones are pants! I didn't buy the last home shirt as I really didn't like it but I think I'll buy both of these.

Thanks for the sponsor info HDHM.
Didn't like the shirts at first glance but they've grown on me.
I've bought kit through the online shop and kibag, had no trouble with either.
Dave I'm in if you want to place a bulk order.
Whubris, I've got a 64 Eurpoean cup winners retro shirt, brilliant strip, it's class. Get one mate you'll never regret it.
