Off topic again, but the last month ive been compiling a list in my head, of all the times that if luck had gone our way it could have been a different season. I was worried i would have to write this if we had gone down, but its not so conqequential anymore :P
1. Harewood missing a 1 v 1 against liverpool - Shot wide
2. Harewood missing a 1 v 1 against Villa - You know the one 7 min sin where Sorenson fucked up his clearence and passed stragiht to harewood, who then missed incredibly badly
3. Benayouns lob cleared off the line against reading in the last minute
4. Tevez vs Wigan - It was deflected onto the post, but it would have been 1 -0 to us but instead wigan scored 2 goals in the next 10 min
5. West Ham vs Fulham in general - If only Zamora hadnt been sent off, if only there was 5 minutes of injury time ETC
6. Milner Vs West ham - IF that wasnt offside i dont know what was
7. Villa Vs West ham again - About 3 shots? cleared off the line in the last 3 minutes
8.Harewood vs Watford - Missed penalty
9.Spurs - Tevez narrowly missed a shot which would have put us 4-3 up in injury time, instead it went the other way.
In truth im no longer complaining about the spurs match cos it kickstarted our season, but imagine if some of those had gone our way instead of against us. It may have been avery different season indeed.

Love you Love for the Hammers it is wonderful... but lets not fall into the trap of thinking that everyone is against us... they say things even themselves up in a season.... Man U and Arsenal had about a million shots in the games at there gaff... Not sure if you see the Blackburn game... nuff said...
We should celebrate the good things that "have" happened... We were shocking at the start of the season, no ifs or buts about it... but we got it together in the nick of time.. and seriously I mean the nick of time...
It's interesting to see that these people are moaning and they probably will all through the english summer.. but I will be amazed if anything changes and we need to make the most of it....
(What odds that we get Shef U away in the FA Cup.. should be a good game... ha ha....)
And finally.... Fuck off you northern yorkshire tossers... fuck off back to the shit league you should be in... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Tevez joined West Ham along with Javier Mascherano in August
Sheffield United have launched a legal challenge to the Premier League's decision not to dock West Ham points in the Carlos Tevez case.
The Blades' lawyers are challenging the decision to fine West Ham rather than dock them points and cancel the Argentine's registration.
United are calling for that decision to be set aside and for a new tribunal to make its decision "within four weeks".
Until then, they want all preparations for next season to be "set aside".
A spokesman for the Premier League confirmed they had received United's request for arbitration and said they were "considering it at the moment".
He also confirmed that only Sheffield United had made a legal challenge.
Were the Premier League to consent to arbitration, they and United would nominate one member each of the tribunal.
These two members would then choose a chairman. The tribunal would effectively have the powers of a court and the parties would agree in advance to abide by any decision reached.
United have called for the tribunal to be establised by the end of this week.
The club is also challenging the Premier League's "conduct in failing to conduct an adequate investigation into the continued fielding of Tevez after the 27 April decision, despite serious questions over his eligibility".

I also see the SU chairman has suggested the PL have a 21 team competition next season and relegate 4 teams at the end of it..not that's it gonna happen but how impressed would the team finishing 4th from bottom be with SU. And the fans of the team who get the bye each week and no game to watch.

According to the daily mail we can buy Tevez for 40 million pounds.
I love him but i dont know if we should spend the WHOLE transfer kitty on him. Imagine if he got injured for the whole season like ashton did.
No offesne to carlos but wed probbaly be better bringing in a 10-15 Mil striker to partner ashton and then look to buy a left back a centre mid to relpace NRC (if he goes)

If he just brings in average English players because he can manage them more easily than good players who know more about football than he does, then we'll struggle again next year.

Anon, I still have my doubts about Curbs also but he has galvanized the team. As well as Tevez, I think Green, Collins, Yossi, Neill and Zamora were all on top form in those last few games. I think like King Egg has reminded us we're not a club who needs money now and Curbs is not at Charlton. Hopefully this will mean that Curbs will not scrape around for players and we can entice some real talent to the club. I think the verdict is still out for Curbs as a coach but he has shown he has what it takes in the heat of battle and I commend him for that.

THE FA Cup final was atrocious. Hype can’t keep the league going forever. The big teams are going to have to start producing sooner rather than later.
Could you imagine if both those teams played the Champions League final?
