Hammers Scrape Through!
The hammers came from behind against Coventry tonight in a fairly laclustre performance and had to concede before we even began to participate according to reports. But what's important is we are in the hat for the quarter finals after Carlton F Cole scored a 93rd minute winner after some good work from Boa Morte.
Now lets hope some big teams get knocked out and we get a reasonable home tie in the last 8.

Another 2 injuries, we were not at our best, but we still win? Not so long ago we'd have lost this fixture. We go behind but grind out a result, away from home and against a team with nothing to lose. Well done Curbs and the boys.
CC turning out to be a savior!

Good strength and calm finish, nice goal.

Add Mark Noble (Groin) to the list. FFS, bloody Curbs will lace up his boots soon (that would be the end for me, I'm afraid)

Graham - are our polls only publically visible from this site? What I'm getting at is 430 people have voted on the latest poll and I want to know if they've all navigated via here? If so that is fucking phenominal!

Yeah they are only available on this site - although people can vote multiple times, I do reckon that's a rough reflection on the real traffic we're getting.
What would be nice now is a standalone chat area off to one side, so that conversations can continue without getting lost down the list after new items are posted. Any thoughts?

You mean like a shout box? Could be interesting. Particularly during matches.
Out of interest does anyone have a video of Ashtons goal versus plymouth?
I dont mean a youtube video or anythin, but something i can actually download.

TJ, thanks for the CC goal. I thought it was quite well taken. I think he's very much a confidence player and this little run should serve him well as long sa his performances go alright and he doesn't get too much of a monkey on his back.

Graham I've already been testing a new forum - I'll email you.

Graham - check out your email.
FYI I've bought the domain whu-au.com which now navigates to this page.
I think we have grown to a size that we need to introduce some progressive changes with this site still being the focal point but IMO a forum is a naturally progressive add on.
