Portsmouth Kick Off Time?
So daylight saving is meant to start this Sunday at 2am at which time people in NSW, VIC, SA, ACT turn their clocks forward 1 hour. If that is the case how can Foxtel have our game scheduled for 2:15am - 4:30am?
As soon as it gets to 2am it magically becomes 3am doesn't it? 2:15 should never occur..
Daylight saving time in the UK doesn't start until 1am Sunday morning UK time so it won't have started when our game kicks off on Saturday arvo.
I'm down the coast for the weekend but I'm gonna drive home to watch the game then go back down again...
Does anyone understand this stuff....what time in QLD is our game actually on?

Satdee 5.15PM London = Sundee 2.15am Brisbane

man you sound like the silly queenslander's who don't like DST. our game times never change i think.
anything advertised on fox will by sydney time so subtract an hour. Otherwise just add 9 hours on from london time and that should be it for us.

FFS people, use the fixture list to your left! I spent hours writing that fucking thing and nobody uses it!
It gives you local time, London time, and game time both locally and in London. The game was scheduled for a 5.15 kickoff London time, so it's 2.15AM here. It also takes daylight saving time into account (although I'd appreciate if you spot an error to let me know)

I should add that "local" time is YOUR local time, so if you're in Brisbane, it's Brisbane time, if you're in Timbuktu then it's Timbuktu time, etc.

Just to explain what is happening here. Sydney (non QLD) clocks change this weekend - however in the UK the clocks do not change until next weekend so the difference this weekend only effects Non QLD - it effects us the following weekend when UK change their clocks.

Oh yeah just read your thing so it's not next weekend but later on in the day after our game is played that UK clocks change so still my explation stands that until UK clocks change the time diff is 9 hours.
Anyway if you read the foxtel site properly you'll see that there is no 2am it's actually 3am. Are you looking at the TV guide on foxtel.com.au?
Anyway the game in QLD kicks off at 2:15!

Graham, chill out dood I did look at the fixture applet thingamie but I wasn't sure if it would be switched on enough to cope with DST 15 mins after it's 2007 start.
Beggers would that be a hassle? I was thinking about trying to watch it on sopcast to save the drive back but if you are gonna be up and watching it and it wouldn't be a hassle/imposition I'd be well interested...thanks

Well Its half time 0-0 and i must say were a tad lucky.
We should probably be 1 or 2 goals down and, especially early on, our defense reminds me of our came vs boro at boro last year.
The ground is really quiet too.
Anywya id say well be lucky to get a draw if it continues.
Though i obviously hope well get the 3 points.

94th Minute and WHAT A SAVE.
We played much better in the 2nd half and a point was probably fair. Solano probably could have won it. Twice. But generally it was fairly even.
How am i gonna sleep now! MAGICAL save!
