Dicksy the gaffer?
Julian Dicks has told reporters that he wants a return to football.
"Football has always been my first love and I've been out of the game for six years now," he told the Evening Gazette. "With almost 20 years in the professional game and 400 League and cup games under my belt, I feel I have a wealth of experience to offer."
The former left-back is hoping to reach the top but is realistic about his chances.
"In my wildest dreams it would be great to finish up in a few years' time as manager or coach at Manchester United or the Hammers. It would be great to go in straight at the top, but I'm realistic enough to know that I've got to make a start somewhere in the lower leagues and I'm open now to offers."
