Never liked Curbs, shite mediocre player, mediocre manager. I really wanted a Ranieri or Vialli, someone with passion, getting sick of seeing shots of Curbs shaking his head on the touchline. It's your fuckin job Curbs to pull this rabble of a fuckin team together and inspire some confidence, NOT feel sorry for yourself. At least Pardew was upbeat, bad results yep but you could never question his belief. I don't think Curbs believes enough. Fuck off Curbs, never liked you.

I can't ever remember being so nervous checking the score this morning!!!

As bad as is sounds, I think the only way to turn WHFC around is a season in the fizzy pop, clean out the rot, rebuild and I 'm sure Eggy has battle plans drawn up of how to do just that.

The whole team needs to be gutted and rebuilt and that aint going to happen in the premier league. Not sure what is going to look like but I'm pissed we won't see as many live games now they'll be in the CCC.

They players, not all, are playing as though they want out (relegation) so we are only going to get what we deserve. I can't believe these selfish pricks would drag a great traditional passionate club through the mire. What goes around comes around, so too whom it may concern, you will suffer for your efforts.

I'm happier now knowing we are going down because this is the only way this club can be burned, cleansed and reborn. Although personally I'd like to light the fires of just a few of the players and smell that burning flesh just to make sure.

I trust Egg to get us back to where is club belongs, I am still mighty proud to where the claret and blue, disgusted with the players but proud of this great club and numbered amongst the most passionate fans that walk the face of the earth.

Firstly,
This is West Ham luck, ok.
Lucas Neil fucks his knee, is out all season, we get relegated and he fucks off.
Secondly,
Can't remember a worse situation than this. In reality we are not down and a comforting stat was that Portsmouth last year got 20 points from their last 9 games but we have 3 fundamental major problems.
1. Our defence is shite
2. We can't score
3. Our midfield is scared to attack and are going sideways.
If we didn't have decent keepers we would be right at the bottom deservedly so from our shite lacklustre performances pretty much all season.
Lastly,
These are player problems yes and also comfidence problems but I'm afraid the buck stops with Curbs, I reckon he's bottling it and if we go down he should be sacked. I'd sack him now and break the bank and get Hiddink if I was Eggy but aint gonna happen.

I've had it. Can't beat Watford at home whilst fighting for Premier league survival, BOLLOCKS!!! If we can't beat those donkeys we don't deserve to be in this league. I really thought we'd win this one. Am so dejected and emotionally drained. I'm fed up with this team.

Won't be coming up to watch the Charlton game, I just can't. This is like watching a good friend die slowly and I just can't do it.

And then I read this :

Absafuckinlutely, we're going down with this fella. I read the Tevez comment too. We need a motivator in there right now and methinks Curbs errs on the "poor me, cry baby" side.
He is a mid-table manager, nothing more nothing less. If Eggy is really aiming high he should start from the top down and spend some money on a class manager with proven European cup competition not someone who right now, is looking heaps worse than Alan Pardew. At least Pardew had some fight. Curbs is sulking.

We are in a very bad position and Curbs has taken over at not the idea time.... However, not that I think he is much better than Pards but he is a West Ham man and this makes a big difference to us Irons fans... For you to say that he should go is complete bollox... we are in a very very bad position but we should always stand behind our team through thick and thin... please can I ask that you don't bring into view anything said by the Sun... because I can assure you... it will be bollox.... Tevez doesn't speak English which is props why he hasn't spoke with Curbs much... but according to the Sun.... he can do a interview... really... I don't think so... Realistically.. we need 15 points from these remaining games, with a bit of luck we may just survive... but we need to start with a win against Charlton and if we can get anything at Shite Lane.. then we have a glimma.... Come on you IRONS!!!!!

Peds - I agree that to blame this on curbs is short sighted - I am however unsure he is the right appointment and what he can do for us long term but it is silly to call for his head - it is done now so we need to go with it.

Also if we do go down (looking likely) he'll probably be the man to get us back at the first attempt.

Unfortunately mate I don't share your optimism with regards to staying up - After the shit I witnessed Saturday night I just can't see it. Also we're not at shite hart lane mate - the game against spuds is at Upton Park.

I agree with you with regards to the SUN but although they are taking the credit for the interview it was done in spanish a few weeks ago by a spanish/argentine newspaper.

Peds - Of course I don't want him sacked now, I was just mouthing off. It would be very stupid and counter-productive at this stage of the season.I'm just expressing my frustration. I've always thought Curbs was a sideways not upward step and right now he is looking like a downward one. That's all. I just don't rate him at all and don't share your confidence Dave that he can bring us straight back if we do get relegated. Sorry, not a Curbs fan, player or manager.

The Londoners were already in dire trouble when Curbishley arrived in December but he has hardly covered himself in glory since then. The Hammers' defence remains four distinct strands united only in their disorganisation while the common denominator in the club's £20m worth of January recruits has been their failure. He was replaced by £5.5m flop Luis Boa Morte whose only notable contribution since deserting Fulham was the needless handball at Newcastle that cost his employers two vital points.

Curbishley will not be dismissed, at least not yet, but West Ham have failed to win any of their last nine league matches and Alan Pardew was sacked two months ago despite winning three of his last nine Premiership outings. Totally agree that it is a sideways step... they are almost the same managers... just slightly different experience. We are always going to struggle to get a big big name... but now Eggers here... that may change but we must stay up... hoepfully we can stick together and get a couple of wins... the thing in our favour, with the squad and players we have we can win against the big teams, (although it seems unlikely with the way we are playing) the squad of Ashton, Tevez, Neill, Upson (obviously when fit) is able to win something the others are not I believe.... so come on your irons... just a few awesome results and we are back in it.... PS we need shef u to beat Wigan I feel and then it's a straight two horse race..

Agreed but we MUST beat Spurs at Home on March 4th. We have a chance as they are in shite form away from home. I've given up predicting. I'm just crossing my fingers now what with this points deduction thing looming too. If that happens then it's curtains. I'm an optimistic sorta chappie but I'm also a realist. Been saying this for ever now but the next 2 games we must get maximum points to have any chance and right now I can see us maybe getting a point at Charlton and the same against Tottenham. We seem to have no fight left in us when we go a goal down. This from the squad who did the opposite all last season. I really don't know anymore, I'm just gonna wait and see. If we get those players back it's gonna be too little too late I fear. We have to go on an amazing run to avoid the drop and knowing our luck we'll do it and then we'll get deducted points at the end of the season.
